We wanted to send out this message to those of us who are having a hard time believing that Black Americans have the capacity to build in the 21st century.
Many of us, through social conditioning, have been led to believe that we are meant to always be in last place, to always struggle and to be forever stuck in a very strange economic difficulty, laced with self-hate, self-pity, self-sabotage and self-destruction.
We believe the timing is right for our people too Unite!
Fit Culture, Incorporated non-profit corporation is a community-based health education, awareness, and prevention movement that emphasizes the goal of alleviating and eliminating cultural health disparities among minority women. The movement promotes a higher level of interest and participation in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle; inspires change in cultural perceptions towards health and fitness; and develops programs to educate and engage community involvement in women’s health issues
