When Sue Kakuk, (a two-time Pillsbury Bake-Off Finalist) discovered her daughter and cycling teammates were stopping at fast-food for donut’s, she carefully crafted a cookie made with functional ingredients that satisfies hunger and sustains energy. She wanted to pack the deliciousness and comfort of a cookie with the nutrition of an energy bar into a grab and go snack to help fuel busy families and active lifestyles.
Numa means daughter (nu) and mother (ma) in Chinese. Numa snacks honor the timeless tradition of a mother's cooking and pay homage to Asian roots all the while keeping the modern, on-the-go consumer in mind.
