The Cardinal Nest is a 501(c)(3) mentoring organization dedicated to helping high school students to prepare for their futures. Through our mission, purpose and objectives, we are able to impact many students. The Cardinal Nest was officially incorporated on February 17, 2015, although the initial cohort of students was established in September 2014.

To Unify, Educate and Advance all People of Afrikan decent through economic growth and development. Also serving as a liaison for all Black Organizations who sincerely serve the needs of our people.
Skip To My Lupus, Incorporated is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2006 in Augusta, Georgia by a mother-daughter pair who are both battling Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. The mother- daughter duo, Tamara Rajah and Alison Sheppard, were diagnosed three months apart in 2003. Skip To My Lupus was established to raise awareness, find for a cause and cure, and to connect other individuals in the community battling this horrible chronic illness.
Our mission is to enhance the educational experiences for young people from single parent households by awarding scholarships and hosting life skills workshops that address topics such as bullying, financial literacy, how to find and apply for scholarships, and effective resume writing and interview etiquette skills. It is our goal to promote the significance of education, build self-awareness, and encourage our youth; ultimately creating tomorrow's leaders today. Through charitable events we are able to extend our reach into local communities.
