We explore issues concerning girls across all walks of life, by capturing their creativity and creating an inclusive community.

With girl power and female empowerment forming the backbone of our platform, Yes Gurl always aims to unite, inspire and spread good vibes.

TAP differentiates itself from other media platforms in that it does not discuss these topics through the traditional political lens, but solely through the lens of activists and the people affected by the issues. The publication will cover the full spectrum of topics to include: racial equity, economic justice, criminal justice reform, gender equity, environmental justice, and much more.

She was born to write, to put unbelievable life experiences into words touching the hearts of those who read them. She has been writing all her life, whether it was to accept reality or cope with it. After battling for her life three times, she came back stronger than ever before and made a promise to herself to never stop writing. Perceptual Plazz came up with her pen name when she realized the power behind life’s experiences and perceptions and how they can alter the way we live. Now she carries this methodology into her poetry, articles, and books.
