We are greeting card publishers that specialize in cards that reflect the culture and heritage of the African American community. We are not retailers but wholesale our products to retail establishments
that are found throughout the country. Our cards can be found in many chain retails pharmacies and supermarkets centered in the Mid-Atlantic region of the USA. Founded in 1995 by myself and my wife when my corporate job was acquired by another company. Shortly after that my job description began to change and I could see the "handwriting on the wall", that being things were going to get worst before they got better. My wife was a great inspiration. She said, "you like to draw and paint and you once worked for a major greeting card company. Why don't we start a greeting card company? And that's how JonMar came into existence. Our company name is a combination of her name, Margaret and mine, John.
