With a sense of cooperation and a concrete plan of action, we offer programs, services, activities and initiatives that uplifts youth, single parents, teenage mothers, ex-felons and we support individual professionals, executives and entrepreneurs in their personal endeavors. In partnership with programs sponsored by other community organizations, our agency provides orientation sessions to a variety of audiences as an introduction to the elements, realities and benefits of employment, training and entrepreneurship. Presentations are made throughout the year and are shaped to fit audiences as appropriate. What is different is that our clients take responsibility to develop their own networks of mentors that provide a broad range of consulting support and assistance to our clients, students and interns. In some instances our work is done through volunteers and in others, adults play an appropriately compensated role. IBSA is committed to the development and provision of programs that serve as alternatives to traditional institutionalization and works to further individuals' full participation as productive citizens to society. We are advocates and researchers, interns and professionals, and business owners and employees. IBSA Business Sponsors: http://ujamaaclub.org
